Biography
Bilingual in English and Russian, Anna also speaks French and is currently learning Chinese. Having graduated with honours in Linguistics, she first found herself in TV journalism pursuing a 10-year-long presenter’s career. Starting with a program she hosted and edited about Russian Culture, Anna built up enough stamina to present an hour-long live daily evening show that ran for 6 years. The show’s unscripted format led Anna to crave the structure and elegance of planned digital narration, so she turned to content creating spanning visual design, creative writing, XR technologies, and producing.

Anna created and taught a year-long course on Transmedia Storytelling to Data Journalism majors in HSE in 2019.

Anna holds a BA in linguistics & cross-cultural relations from Moscow International University, has 10 years live-tv experience from 15 years in international journalism and worked as a Paris correspondent for a year (2015/16). Upon her return to Moscow she undertook a two year Fine Arts course in Russia's leading art school, the Stroganov Academy and continues to work as a commissioned artist.

Anna has advanced public speaking skills due to her presenter’s career spanning 2005-2019. Born in the Soviet Union, Anna lived in Canberra, Australia with her parents for 5 years, contributing significantly to her bilingual skills: she speaks fluent English and Russian. Returning after the USSR imploded, the family had to reinvent themselves in a completely new country - Russia. From a very young age Anna has always felt part of a global community, valued the importance of learning and understanding foreign culture, history and language.

Apart from extensive live-tv experience, Anna has hosted panels at the St Petersburg Cultural Forum, at SXSW 2019, hosted 1-2-1 on-stage interviews with international celebrities to live audiences.

Projects she worked for won 300+ awards including Emmy News & Documentary Awards 2021 (Nominee), Cannes Lions (9 shortlists in 2018-2021), D&AD (Wood Pencil 2021, Shortlist 2019), Red Dot (12-time winner, 4 Best of the Bests), The One Show (2 Bronze Pencils, 13 Merits 2020-2021), ADC (3 Bronzes, 10 Merits 2019-2021), Webby (5-time Winner & People's Voice Awards 2016-2021, 11-time Nominee) and more.
